Images from behind the scenes of Man Conquers Space

This photo is of the workroom, and shows the computers used to generate the computer graphics used in Man Conquers Space. To the left of the computer keyboard are two genuine flight instruments being used for the flight deck of the Saturn Shuttle.

This photo is of another angle in the workroom, and shows the sewing machine, the mostly completed Mars spacesuit (blue) in the background, the helmet of the Saturn Shuttle Launch and Re-entry Suit on the benchtop, with the just-started Lunar Suit Pressure Garment in the foreground.

This photo is of the workshed, and shows all the power and handtools used in fabricating all the lifesize hardware being used in the film. On the benchtop between the drill and the powersaw is the back of the Saturn Shuttle couch with adjustable headrest.
